Meet Hailey Snyder, CPT from National Personal Training Institute
You may have seen Hailey around the club already because she has been a loyal and hardworking employee for the Newtown Athletic Club for three years!
The NAC has been a part of my life for three years and has given me opportunities I couldn’t be more grateful for. I began working at the cafe and through the years have continued to work in different departments such as the training center, front desk and Escape! I began my own fitness journey at the NAC through classes and having my own trainer which inspired me to become a trainer myself! The NAC has helped me grow as a person inside and outside of the club and helped me become a better version of myself.
Recently, I have started training to be a Personal Trainer since I received my CPT certification. I’m so excited to start working one-on-one with members and helping them reach their full potential both inside and outside of the gym! I specialize in weight training, strength training, circuit training, body weight training and nutrition.
Here is a workout I put together for your next leg day workout.
If you want to crawl out of the gym after a leg day, follow this routine! I created this power workout with cardio with the intention of leaning out my legs while gaining muscle. I begin the workout with my warmup on the stair master increasing the intensity by one to two levels every five minutes, making sure I stay aerobic. Each one of my workouts, whether I’m training my upper body, lower body or full body, I make sure they all have the same intention – body composition! I keep most of my cardio mainly in my warmup which aids in the fat burning process. My lift consists of keeping my sets even and the reps moderate with higher weight as this will burn fat and build muscle. I leave one to two minutes in between each set before moving on to the next exercise. I end my lift with a cooldown which is a short jog on the SkillRun to slow my heartrate down before I stretch!
