BREAKING BOUNDARIES

TOTAL CLUB EXPANSION & RENOVATION

We have named our $12-15 million, 45,000 sq foot renovation/expansion Breaking Boundaries. We have chosen this name because we are literally breaking boundaries by physically tearing down the walls of our club to create an even more amazing member experience for you.

We are also breaking the boundaries of anything our industry has done to date by creating brand new boutique style group exercise studios, completely redoing and expanding the adult locker rooms, relocating and redesigning Six Zone to be located adjacent to the Fitness Center, re-configuring the Salon and Spa to be located on the first level – offering the style, status and amenities of a five star resort, adding a 6,000 sq ft Wellness Center and redesigning the entrance and the NACafe to offer more space and the feel of a fuller service restaurant experience.

As the third largest individually owned single property health club in the nation, we are breaking the boundaries of everything you thought a health club was by becoming the ultimate lifestyle club.

After completion, every single inch of the NAC will have been, redesigned, re-purposed, renewed, renovated and expanded upon.

nac locker rooms

This 45,000 sq. ft. renovation and expansion places a heavy focus on 6 boutique group exercise studios for the various exercise modalities. Each of these areas will have its own brand (look, style, and name) in order to demonstrate the uniqueness of each modality and the already wide variety of proficiency that we offer to the member experience all under one roof.

Reform, The Practice and PULSE studios are complete. The remaining boutique studios will take place in the next phase – Phase II.

Our vision is to design adult locker rooms that are luxurious and relaxing offering a resort, spa style environment. Both the men’s and women’s locker rooms will double in size and scope. This area holds high priority in this expansion strategy. Part 1 of the men’s locker room is officially open, and the women’s is being created now.

The women’s locker room will nearly double in size at 4,255 sq. ft. (from 2,300).

A new Wellness Wing featuring programs and services will be constructed through our medical wellness partnership with Capital Health & The Rothman Institute.

We are adding a second entrance to the club located by the Escape parking lot. Truth is, club usage is up – with the same amount of members as the year prior. And that is what we want. We want to help people be healthier and improve their quality of life.

We are putting a new entrance by the back of the club to allow parking for those spots that are under utilized in the winter months.

This entrance will allow easy access on that side of the building for the additional 200 parking spaces that currently exist there alleviating some of the parking issues that we currently experience during busy times.

The Fitness Center will expand to include a dedicated Six Zone studio. Designed with a unique open room concept off of the fitness center floor, this space will include a variety of new cardio & strength equipment to push you to your limits. Virtual exercise demos are featured in this studio for all day access. Our fitness center is already recognized as one of the top in the nation; however, with these additions our members have even more opportunities to create fitness habits that will last a lifetime.

The Urban Allure Salon and Spa will be reconfigured on the main club level; featuring a new entrance to the Sanctuary Spa on the main level, while offering high end retail products and customized environments for relaxation, rejuvenation and therapeutic services. Our goal is to offer the style, status and amenities of a five star resort salon and spa located in the heart of your community.

The indoor pool will be entirely renovated in the mid-summer/fall 2020. Everything from tile to lighting will be redone.

There will be a European Spa concept connected to the indoor pool venue with 3 recovery spa opportunities. Three unique pools, with hot temperatures (104 and 94 degrees) and cold plunge temperatures (45-56 degrees), offer a completely comprehensive recovery approach.
