Group Personal Training Classes

Share the cost of personal training with group personal training, known as ‘team training’ at the Newtown Athletic Club.

Team Training consists of 4-6 participants to maximize individual attention from your personal trainer. Our expert fitness professionals will push you through innovative, high-intensity group workouts that last for 50 minutes. Sharing the cost of personal training with a ‘team’ makes for a more affordable option while still receiving a great and supervised workout (as little as $100/month). Prices: 4x per month for $25 per session or 8x per month for $22 per session.

For those on Senior Memberships, we offer a Senior Strong program specific for ages 65+. This exclusive group personal training class for active adults is 55 minutes long, 8x per month with a two month commitment, for $120 per month.

Fitness Stories

“My mother suffered a catastrophic brain injury 5 years ago and since worked to regain her entire mobility. Encouraging my mother to socialize and exercise are two very important aspects of her ongoing recovery and I am forever grateful to Jason for the dignity and kindness he shows my mother during her bi weekly training sessions.

She is SO excited to come to her training sessions and that fills my heart with a type of joy that I don’t think I could fully articulate.”

“But there you go, doing what you thought you couldn’t.Chris Pushing Katie on a sled

I have been fortunate to have Katie Mitchell as my trainer; she does a wonderful job of switching up the route when we train, so it doesn’t become stagnate, routine and boring. One of the best things about her is that she doesn’t give in when you think you have had it. She pushes you that one step further. Katie knows what she can get out of you, even if you feel you don’t have it. That is what makes her one of the best I have ever worked with.”

Chris Szagola

“After having a c section I wanted to work with a trainer to get my abs and body toned. I thought group training would be a great opportunity to get back into shape. Lynne Plotnick is an excellent trainer. She works well with the entire body, mentally and physically. I am stronger because of her. Most importantly I love working out again and find it fun due to her efforts. I would recommend Lynne to anyone.”
