Meet our Tutors!

Wayne Demore

Wayne is available Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday from 5-7PM

Wayne’s educational background began in the Neshaminy School District, where he graduated in 2005. After graduating high school, he enrolled at West Chester University and majored in English with a focus on reading and writing. Wayne has always found reading and writing to be the essential building blocks for academic success in any subject. After graduating from West Chester University, he enrolled at Cairn University in their Masters program for Secondary Education, where he is currently earning his degree. Wayne received his teaching certificate from the state of Pennsylvania in English grades 7-12 while at Cairn University as well. Outside of the classroom, he is passionate about coaching. Currently, Wayne coaches middle school football, directs the school play, and coaches spring track at William Penn Middle School in Yardley. In January of 2015, he was inducted into the Neshaminy Sports Hall of Fame for track and field. He has also played soccer, ice hockey, basketball and baseball.

Lauren Foreman

Lauren is available after school Thursday evenings.

Lauren is an experienced elementary education teacher and tutor. She graduated from Penn State University in 2010 and has fallen in love with teaching. As a certified K-6 elementary teacher, Lauren is fully qualified to teach any subject area, and is particularly skilled at helping primary (K-3rd grade) students learn the skills of reading, phonics, writing, and math. With older students (4-7th grade), Lauren’s specialty areas include writing, reading, science, and math. Having dedicated her life to working with children, Lauren excels at meeting the needs of every learner.
