#TeamTuesday – Allie Antenucci

How well do you know the NAC Youth Programs staff? Each week we will be highlighting a different instructor, coordinator, or manager from the youth programs department to help you get to know our team! Want to nominate your favorite youth programs instructor? Fill out the form below!

This week, meet the youth programs marketing manager Allie! Allie joined the NAC this past February and focuses on marketing for the Youth Programs, Camp NAC, and NAC Parties departments. This involves sending out emails, posting to social media, and creating signs around the club to ensure clear communication with all of you, the parents! You may see her from time to time in youth classes and around the club taking pictures and setting up for various events.

Get to know Allie!

1. What is your favorite part of your job?

My favorite part about my job is learning new things. I just graduated from Temple University in May and this is my first full time job. I have been able to learn so much in just a few short months from the whole youth programs team. I love the people that I work with and am so happy to be part of an amazing team!

2. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?

That’s a hard one! Where wouldn’t I go is a better question. I’ve always wanted to travel a lot and I actually have a trip planned to Spain next year. I think traveling is something that everyone should do to get a better understanding of the world.

3. What was your dream job growing up?

Growing up I was a big fan of cheesy romantic comedies, like 13 Going on 30 and How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. All the main characters in these movies worked in a big city at a fashion magazine, so that was what I wanted to do too. Eventually that led to getting into Marketing and Public Relations.

4. Who is your hero?

My hero is my mom. She’s worked really hard so that I could go to school and it inspires me to work hard every day.

5. What motivates you to work hard?

I have always been really self-motivated, both in school and at work. It makes sense to me that if you’re going to spend any time doing something, you might as well make sure you try your hardest and make it the best it can be. I try to put my all into everything I do, whether it’s a simple email or a huge marketing campaign.

6. What is your favorite kid’s movie?

I love watching all of the old Disney movies from when I was little. If I had to pick a favorite it would probably be Lion King.

7. What is your proudest accomplishment?

My proudest accomplishment was graduating from Temple University this past May! Go Owls!
