25,000 sq. ft., 11 racquetball courts
2 racquetball courts were converted to a fitness center on the lower level and an aerobics studio was on the upper level
2 more racquetball courts were converted to fitness centers and a 2nd aerobics studios was added on the upper level (studios 1 & 2 today)
Fitness center expanded and 2 more racquetball courts converted to children’s programming and physical therapy
By Club Industry Magazine and has remained on that list ever since!
And 40,000 sq. ft. expansion completed marking the NAC 65,000 sq. ft. in total. This expansion included the indoor pools, brown gymnasium, indoor track and expanded programming space.
This made the NAC 100,000 sq. ft. total. This included the blue gymnasium, new kids club, gymnastics, dance, martial arts and maze studios.
