Practice Information

Practice days are Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (depending on the group)
No practice will be held on the following dates: 11/23, 11/24 , 12/26, 12/28, and 12/29
During practice we request that all parents remain off of the pool deck. This allows your child to focus on practice and allows the coaches to focus on the swimmers
             -If you wish to observe practice please do so from the observation area.
            -If you have questions for the coaches please make time to talk to them before or after practice
            -Swimmers are NOT to be in the water before or after practice engaging in recreational swimming
All swimmers must wear their swim cap and goggles to every practice

THERE ARE NO MAKEUP PRACTICES!

Groups and Practice Times

Rookie Team: Mondays and Wednesdays -5:45-6:30

Blue Team: Mondays and Wednesdays -6:15-7:15, Thursdays-6:30-8:00

Black Team: Mondays and Wednesdays-7:00-8:30, Thursdays -6:30-8:00

Team Swimsuits and Caps

One team suit and latex cap are included with registration and must be worn for all meets
Additional suits may be purchased for $40 for boys’ jammers and $50 for girls’ suits.

Swim Meets

Our goal is to encourage each child to do their best and make personal progress and improvement. To this end we will participate in a number of swim meets that are focused on individual events. We understand that not all swimmers will be able to make all events but we encourage participation in as many meets as possible. Our goal as a team is to attend one meet per month beginning in October. Parents will receive meet information in advance and if they would like their children to participate in that specific meet, they must turn in the meet entry and additional fees at the appropriate time in order to be entered into the meet. A meet calendar with proposed meets will be posted toward the end of the first month of swimming.

Parental Involvement

Parental involvement is critical for your child’s development and the success of our program. For the time trials and meets we will need volunteers to work as timers and other positions. Week to week involvement is also encouraged. Ask both your child and the coaches questions (though please wait until after practice to speak with the coaches). Most importantly, encourage your swimmer and be supportive of their progress! We want all swimmers to have fun and positive reinforcement from you is critical to this goal. We ask that parents of all swimmers attend a parents meeting on September 7^th at 7:00p.m. to learn more about our program and about how you can help your swimmer.

Members
Boys – $95 registration fee*
Girls – $105 registration fee*

Rookie Team- $40 per month
Blue Team- $65 per month
Black Team- $80 per month

General Public
Boys – $105 registration fee*
Girls- $115 registration fee*

Rookie Team- $60 per month
Blue Team- $85 per month
Black Team- $100

*Registration fee includes one team swimsuit, one team tee-shirt, one cap and USA Swimming registration-
Female registration is higher due to the difference in suit cost.

All participants must provide a credit card or bank account for monthly EFT debit
Dues will be deducted on the 18^th of each month for the following month’s dues
